BALI YOGA RETREAT – PRICE & ACCOMMODATION
Basundari (The Grace of Mother Earth in Hindu sanskrit). It is a boutique retreat center located in the village of Laplapan 2km from Ubud center. Set amongst jungle, rice fields and the magnificence of nature, it is a raw, beautiful, relaxing, and rejuvenating place. It is nestled near a flowing river with giant stands of Bamboo and jungle. The calming sound of the flowing river, the symphony of nature and the scent of the verdant vegetation make for an ideal setting to practice and meditate.
We provide a delicious nutritious sattvic breakfast and a delightful vegetarian lunch.
You will have daily yoga practices, as well as free time to explore the beautiful surroundings of Bali, the Island of the Gods.

SAGI JESSIE DEGON
Sagi is a very unique and real Yoga teacher who is committed to the traditional Indian Yoga lineage which is passed on from teacher to student. Over the past 10 years he has been going every year to spend time with his teachers and deepen his practice and knowledge. He opened a Yoga studio in Bali ( Yoga 108 Bali ) in 2015 and quickly gained a reputation of one of Bali’s top teachers. People and yoga teachers from all around the world come to Bali to practice with him.
His attitude towards teaching and learning yoga is very straightforward and practical for anyone who is willing and able to implement in to their lives.
He has a genuine wisdom and understanding of this method and a direct approach for a strong and lasting evolution in one’s yoga practice.
BALI YOGA RETREAT – RETREAT YOGA STYLES
- HATHA – Iyengar Yoga inspired class focusing on alignment and techniques to improve posture and spinal wellbeing strength and health.
- ASHTANGA – Ashtanga is the original power yoga. A systematic sequence of predetermined flowing postures linked together with the breath. Great to learn many poses. Active!
- VINYASA – Let’s flow! Here we get creative. Flowing from pose to pose with the breath. Nice practice to both stretch and strengthen your body. Leave feeling reenergized.
- YIN – Time to relax and restore your body, mind and nervous system to a state of peace and harmony. We hold restorative poses for longer deeper stretches and tension release. Great for everyone from athletes to non-active people. Leaves feeling HIGH in a peaceful kind of way 😉
- GENTLE FLOW – Mild version of a Vinyasa class but we are taking it a bit slower and leaving the crazy poses out. Nice way to wake up the body with deep focus on breath and movement. We hold some restorative poses too.
- MEDITATION & YOGA PHILOSOPHY – Learning and practicing some meditations. Covering different yoga philosophies as well regarding ego, attachment, self-awareness, samskaras, karma, emptiness
Due to the nature of this retreat personal attention will be given to everyone and we will have the space to address any special needs or modifications for your practice. This is YOUR space and time to learn and adjust your personal practice and we are here to help you do it!
